EvE Bet it a new service that i will be providing to all eve players.
EvE Bet will be essentially a betting service, taking bets on anything u like, in and out of EvE.
This Includes
- International Football
Club Football
Horse Racing
In Game Events (e.g. Alliance Tornaments)
If you wish to place a bet on any event please feel free to contact me ingame, i will be broadcasting regularly in trade an Jita local informing people of this service.
As i am UK based this service will only include UK Club Football and Racing, at the moment and will be limited to events which start and finish on the day the bet is placed.
Currently i intend to run this service alone however if i get a large interest i may employ people and pay isk to assist running the service.
The current minimum bet will be 1 million ISK and the maximum is negotiable on weather i think it is feesable to take the bet.
Each-Way bets are also accepted.
To place a bet please contact character: "EVE Bet" in game and i will assist you as much as possible.
Example of a Bet:

EVE Bet > Hi, how may i help you.
EvilSource > I would Like to place a bet of 10 Million ISK on Hedgehunter to Win the grand national.
EVE Bet > That would be possible, if you could transfer me 10 Million ISK i will Provide you with a Bet ID and should you win the bet the winnings will be transfered directly to your wallet with "Bet ID : XXXXX" as reason for transfer along wth an ingame mail. On the event of a loss no contact will be made.
EvilSource > The transfer has been made.
EVE Bet > Thank you. The transfer has been recived and your bet is now placed on Hedgehunter to win with odds of 16-1 and your New bet ID is "000001" thank you.

place a 1 mil bet and win and ull see that u get ur money..... ive been trying to think of a way to prove that its not but like what can i do.... unless ppl try it and see then pass on good word ...

Mains are EvilSource, and EvilEmbrace
if i get trust and get a good service running and with 30k ppl on if i just take a couple 100 bets a weekend having a good name and running a good service would make more isk then i could ever scam.
I Made this char jsut so ppl can remember the name easy and i can find the transactions easy.

as to the sacamming the first big bet... im not surrently taking bets over 25 mil anyway as i dont want to have a big bet come in and not beable to afford the payout, just made a 50 mil payout to a football game ... ouch

hey jsut spotted a post about how the system works...
you place an bet on event ... e.g.
team A to win Team B at a football game
you place 1mil for team A to win and i give u odds of 1.8 you willl recive a 1.8 mil payout upon a win..
bets are made with myself...
so e.g if team A wins i loose 0.8 mil, if team A looses i gain 1.0...
works exactly like a highstreet betting shop
odds are displayed in either decimal or fraction form.
if uve ever been in a betting shop youlll know all the ins and out for details convo me in game
odd are either fractional e.g. 4/5
upon a win u recive the fractional odds of ur stake+ return of your stake
e.g.
1 mil bet , 4/5 odds
1mil * 4/5 = 0.8 mil
stake = 1mil
total payout = 1.8 mil
decimals are a multiplier... so u your stake is included in the odds
e.g odds of 1.8
1.8 * stake = 1.8 mil
decimal odds = fractional odds + 1

and to be honest i cant see there being an internationa law about people placing bets with in game money... thats like saying its illegal to risk your ship in a fight because in effect ur gambling on winning or u will losse isk.

yea but the problem with a casino is how does it work ... e.g roulette...
you have to "show" the betters the result... so its difficult to show that the number is what u say and youve not just picked 1 your not gona loose out on.
whereas with betting on events ppl can simple go online and find if thier team, player, whatever event results are

English is my first lanuage ... i accept i didnt check for errors throughly enough and if u find a 10 year old that can run a bookmaking system let me know... and i have took a few bets alredy.... not many but its getting there

currently i do not have the fund to take suck bets 100s of dollars were talking billions of isk, and currently i unable to take such bets as i simple dont have the funds... bets are currently being limited to arround 25 million isk ... however i will wish to increases this in the futer, however it is impossible to fund such bets without taking MANY more bets. as to buying/selling of isk if any player making bets was ever linked with the buying or selling of isk and it was possible for me to find out i would instantly refund the bet and ban further bets. also if i was to take bets in the future of billions of isk i would not do so without thorough thought.

and running a sucesfull betting system is NOT 100% free money.... betting shops do regularly come out on top but it is possible for them to loose out however the chance of loosing becomes MUCH smaller the greater number / ammount of money u take in bets on a event. as for the person intending to give it a try thank you for your interest and support. please contact me via ingame mail if i am not online for any event u wish to place a bet on and i will supply you with odds.
